I live in a rural area that is sparsely populated. And my wife is the principal/teacher of what is probably the smallest school in the State. The total student population is 15, and that is for 9 grades (k-8). The students all pretty much get one-on-one or one-on-two lessons for their grade level. The school has my wife and 2 other teachers on hand.

While I am sure that is a stress on the few staff the school has, I am sure the kids are better educated in that school than in a crowded one.
