Maybe. I've heard Pokemon trainer (my main) is really good against Sonic. Even if I couldn't get it done with that, I have Ike, Bowser, Mewtwo, and Samus in my back pocket.

I also have ridley, captain falcon, meta knight, and luigi in my back pocket

All pretty good characters.
