The Mythic Wasteland-Part Three

Tyler: now where could he be
Tessy: how should i know we have been following them without even attempting to say any thing

"I SWEAR TO-"Alizia said, cutting herself off,"DO YOU WANT ME TO DIE?FIRST YOU GIVE ME A SEIZURE THEN A HEART ATTACK?!?!?"

Ezra: sorry i just thought this was a good time for a joke.
Tyler: dude even i know this is a bad time for jokes

Aliza let him go, mostly because a bullet got caught in her shoulder."Just get up and fight!"she yelled, although that was mostly because of the pain, rather than anger.

Ezra: that what I've been doing see that rope on his leg.

Alizia looked at him,"Why not around his neck?"

Ezra: strategy. that is why. see now he can't go far. and when he tries to cut it we spring on him

Aliza sneered,"nice..."she said,saunching the blood flowing from her shoulder."Lets start getting close to him."

Tyler: no let him get closer to us. it's less suspicious that way.

She nodded."Yeah,okay."she said, digging at her wound.She muttered so he couldn't hear her,"Damnit,I think the bullet caught on my shoulder blade..."she said, taking off her scarf and using it as a bandage, and started to ignore the pain."Ill attack from behind?"she asked.

"People talk about that?"she yelled from across the building.

Ezra:(yelling back) well demons do anyway. that is what the common demon talk about things they did and things they will do. I'm not the common demon.

"Well thats half right!"she yells,"What version do you guys have?The bar scenario?"

Ezra: that and others. some involved you hoping in his car. others you weren't drugged and you let him. but I choose to believe the one in the bar.

Aliza huffed,"It was a bit like the bar scenario..."she said, and like...less than 1% of I let him.She aid, explaining,"It was the brand we walked out together.We didnt sit together, but we walked out at the same time."she said,"Then he grabbed me and used chloroform,when I woke p,he undressed me and held a knife to mt throat, said if I didnt comply,hed slit my throat and leave me in an ally."she shrugged, looking away."So,I tried my best to enjoy it...didnt really...work out."

Ember: *winced* You know that like 3 people in our group know how to heal wounds, right?

Alizia glared at him,"You know, that like,I dont like being taken care of, right?"she said, glowering.

Tessy: me to, or were you counting me.
Tyler: i think he meant you. because light star, ember, and you.

{Lightstar turned to Alizia} "I can heal you, just come over here."

{Electra nodded} "I see." {Lunarfall gave a snort of comtempt at Ezra} "Wonderful time" {she growled}

"Im doing just fine like this!"she yelled, her arm jerking violently in pain.With that she walked over to her."The bullets lodged in my shoulder still..."she muttered.

{Lightstar swiftly flew torwards her} "let me see that wound. it'll only take a minute!"

Alizia un-wrapped the scarf from her shoulder,"Go ahead..."she muttered.

{It only took a few seconds. the wound was healed and it seemed a wound was never there}

"D...did you..."she looked with wide eyes, but she looked devoid of emotion."take out the bullet?"

{Lightstar nodded} "The bullet, i took it out before i healed you."

She gave a sigh of relief,"Thanks for the healing."she said, standing up, looking for Darian.

{Lightstar nodded, then sat down} "I think we need to rest right now, then look for Darian. any ideas?" {Electra perked up} "i know a lake. remember Aliza? that lake where we met Ezra and Ember?"

Alizia nodded,"Lets go there."

{The small company begain heading towards the lake, led by Electra, who was rather proud to do something helpful.}

They all started walking, everyone held in silence.

{Lightstar looked at everyone, then at the ground. the silence was unsettleing to her.}

Alizia stood, then walked away."Ima go somewhere...alone."she said, looking at everyone."You guys dont have to wait for me."

{Lightstar nodded} "Just be careful."

Ember: Ugh, I can't wait anymore, can't I just slice his head off?

Alicia shoved him aside,"No!I wanna dismember him!"she said, running,"Skin his face and wear it as a hat, perhaps?"

{Lightstar growled} "Well sometimes we all need help."

Ember: You've said that before, and no. What's your issue with him and how is it more important than mine?

Aliza shook her head,"Your issue is a lot bigger than mine."she said, eyes flashing anger and sadness for a spilt second before it went away."Just ignore me.Mine is just petty."she said, getting her knife.

Ember: Uh... *looks at Ezra* while you were talking about that *points to the cut rope* he escaped*

Aliza glowered,"well....is he still here?"

Ember: I just told you that he escaped. His scent is gone, must have teleported somewhere. *he kicked a piece of rubble* THIS is why I hate waiting to fight

"Stop arguing over something so frivolous."Alizia growled, dodging a bullet."DO YOU EVER RUN OUT OF AMMO?!"she yelled

Ember looked at Ezra, hoping for an answer

Ezra looked at Ember,"Well,I dont know the whole story, but, you know when they did the thing?Aliza was. drugged and non-consensual during that time."

Ember: I meant the bul- wait, HE DID WHAT?! *growls* I got another reason to tear him apart now

Ezra: thats what I heard anyway.

Aliza just looked at Ember,"No..."she said, walking around."This guys professional."she said, walking around."You dont think he'd have the ability to cover up his scent?"

The dust clears
Ember: Damn it, I save you from near-death and now you try to kill yourself. *looks at Alizia, who is encased in a weird blue layer* Good thing the dragonbane wore off so I could use a Spell. *he stood up* You've done it now Darian! Get ready to face the pain of a lifetime!
Darian: Au contraire, the one to who'll feel pain is you!
Ember: What do you mean? Your bullets didn't even last five minutes! I wonder how you were able to beat two First Dragons with defective equipment?
Darian: You'll find out in three... two... one...
Pain shoots through Ember's body
Ember: Wh-what did you do?
Darian: I don't call it my signature powder for nothing.

{Lightstar rushed to Embers side} "Hey, come one, it's ok." {She slowly begain healing him. she turned to Lunarfall and Electra, who had just arrived} "You two. distract him while i heal Ember. the two nodded and lunged at Darian.}

Ember: I told you... not to come... it's personal...

{Lightstar looked at Ember, and her eyes had a glow to them, a glow of determination.} "It's personal for everyone here. their fighting for their homes. their friends. friends like you."

Ember: *sigh* Good point... And thanks for the help, I feel a lot better *stands up*

{Lightstar gave him a warm smile} "It's ok." {She then turned to Darian, and flapped her spear-like wings, soaring high into the sky, her sight still on the dragon killer}

Ember: *laughs* That's it, Darian! Game over! You've lost! You're outnumbered! *looks around* Wait... where's Ezra?

{Electra looked around for Erza. she weaved in and out of attacks, shooting Darian with lightning here and there} "EZRA? WHERE ARE YOU?"

Ember: Weird... he was the one who mentioned Darian at the log... Shouldn't he be here?

{Lunarfall glanced around to look for Ezra} "He should be here to...!"

Ezra: boo!
he jumped behind Alizia and scared her where he was half dead. by that i mean Alizia had him pinned down with a knife to his throat.

BC looks defensive: hey! he's a growing boy!

Alizia was about to have a theoretical seizure."I swear TO GOD IF THIS GUY IS-"she cut herself off,dodging another bullet."Urg!"she yelled, the bullet grazing her cheek, making a small, scratch like mark."whatever."she said,"lets just kill this guy."

Alizia jumped, using bricks as a form of blunt force."You know, guys,I feel kinda weak.Like...we need a whole party to fight this guy-"

Aliza looked at Ember,"And youre handling the situation perfectly on your own,arent you?"she shook her head,"Besides...I have a problem with him too..."she said,doding a bullet that was shot in her direction."Dammit..."she muttered,"I hate guns..."

{Lunarfall lungned at Darians face, and Electra attempted to shoot him with his own gun. Lightstar continued to heal Ember.}

Alizia stood up."What is it with you and not wanting me to die?"she asked, shakily walking.She held up her knife and began searching for Darian

Tyler: why would any of us want you to die, your our friend. (he ran at Darian only to dodge bullets and run back.) and we are your friends weather you like it or not

Aliza shook unstably, but stopped her self from looking weak."Huh,friends."she said,"Ive never had any before."she said, throwing her knife at Darian,it hitting him in the shoulder.

{Lightstar finished healing Ember, though she went in front of him.} "You need the most defence right now. you and Aliza. as she spoke, magic shildes sourounded everyone excludeing lightstar.}

Aliza hmphed,making a shield of bricks surround Lightstar."What about you?"

{Lightstar gave a little shrug in the air} "I've always been dependent on myself, protecting others."

Alizia nodded."Ill try, and come back with food."

{And that was the end of that. It became much quieter.}

Tessy:(whisper) pttttsss... Ezra.
Ezra: yes ma'am
Everyone turned to him. then a couple of seconds later they ignored him
Tessy:(whisper) come here. (normal voice) I need to talk with him. we will be back.

{Electra shoved Ezra very hard} "YOU JERK! WE WERE WORRIED ABOUT YOU! YOU NEARLY SCARED ALIZA TO DEATH!"

BC: aw. am i late to the fight?
Chompy: *disappointed barks*

{Electra turns to BC} "Your late, but were gonna rest then go after him."

BC: ok.
Chompy chased his imaginary tale, then goes to sleep

{They finaly reached the lake. Electra peered down into the lake and caught some fish}

BC eats dirt, because he isn't an animal.
Chompy eats a school of sharks

Tyler: they have been gone for a few minutes. they should be back. I'm gonna go check on them.
Tyler got up and as soon as he did. tessy and ezra came back. Tessy's hair was dorn and not in a ponytail and Ezra needed to XYZ.
Tyler: well you guys seemed to have fun

{Lightstar sat down, quietly searching amoung the stars. her gaze seemed distant}

Tyler: alright umm easy fix.
tyler roasted it alive. which made the smell worse. almost smelled of dragon blood after a dragon had been dead for a couple of days

"Ima end myself this thing dosent go away-"Alizia said, before grabbing it and throwing it into the lake.

Ember: *looks back at the "semplet"* Uh.. Elf Boy, I thought you cut it's head off
Tyler: What?
Ember points to the creature that was watching them with its beady eyes

Chompy suddenly smelled something bad, which made him barf out the sharks
BC: Chompy? are you ok?
BC then smelt something bad
BC: Ugh! what's that smell?

{Lightstar,Electra,and Lunarfall covered their noses} "What is that...?" {Lightstar asked}

it was a skunk
BC: heh. I guess none of us have smelt a skunk before

Alizia gagged,"N...no....thats *not* skunk"

{Lunarfall scooted away from the skunk} "Move away from it."

Ember: This isn't skunk, it has a different scent. Whatever it is, I've never seen it here or at my homeland before

Alizia stood up,packing up everything,"I dont know what it is,I really dont think its skunk, but I cant take this smell anymore-"

{Lightstar scooted away untill she could no longer smell the repulsive scent} "Over here, you wont smell it."

Alizia shook her head,"We should evacuate-"she said,"If we dont know what it is, it might be poisonous"

Tyler: oi you guys are freaking over a semplet
he chopped it's head off
Ezra: I coulda did that. if I knew what a semplet was

{Electra grumbles} "So much for the lake. were are we suposed to go now?" {Lunarfall preked up} "I know a stream. we should go there."

Ember: I agree, it seems a little suspicious

BC pats Chompy's head: it's ok buddy. we'll find more food for you

{Lunarfall stood up, and walked from the scent, almost running} "Lets go before we all get sick."

Ember: That thing eats more than I do after I nap for a century

Ember caught some fish with his claws and cooked them
Ember: I'm so hungry... if we didn't take a break, I would have considered *looks at Electra* ...alternatives.

{Electra glares at him} "What am I, a sheep to you?!"

Alizia came back from the forest,carring a rabbit."Im back from thinking about....stuff..."she said, tossing the rabbit."This thing just walked over my feet, can you believe it?"

Alizia threw her hands up,Yup,nope,not today!"she said, walking off,"Im not doing this right now."

Ember: *takes bite of fish* A dragon can eat anything when he's hungry

Alizia looked at him."What about this?"she holds up the rabbit."I can skin it, and you cook it?"

{Electra starts to scoot away from him} "Just don't eat me."

Ember: Deal

Alizia skinned the rabbit, and gutted it, leaving the organs under some leaves and handed it to him,"Your turn."

Ember: *roasts the rabbit* There

Alizia cuts up some of the rabbit and divides it up evenly."Here."she says, handing a portion to Ember,and then turning to Electra."Want some?"

{Electra looked a little offended} "I'm a Dragon-cat. a diffrence."
