So why does the NOAA operated US Climate Reference Network (USCRN) show no warming since the network went online in 2005?

That's, "U.S." temperatures. You do know that the US covers 6% of all the landmass of earth, right? That the land mass of earth is only 29% of the total globe?

You can likely find another 6% of the globe that has seen 2 degree cooling since 2005. That doesn't mean the planet isn't getting hotter overall.

You might as well say that your thermometer in your back yard shows no change since 2005 so there is no climate change.

Oh, so climate change only affects everywhere but the places that have a standardized and well maintained reference network of weather stations......gotcha.

The reason NOAA created the network is because the existing network of weather stations did not meet the specifications necessary for untainted data. Some were installed in asphalt parking lots, or near air conditioner radiators, or near manufacturing facilities. Some were even painted dark colors, causing them to absorb more infrared and report higher temperatures. NOAA created a separate network that meets all specifications, and magically - the anomalous data disappeared.

You'll notice that none of the climate change proponents want to talk about the USCRN.
