Electoral College is based on population not dirt, basically follows House of Representatives. For a handful of states which have one Congressman, they get a disproportionate higher weight in EC process.

Got a favor, if you are going to TRY to pass your self as being smart, please do your homework to ensure that you are. There is no substitute for brains.

The reasons for the college are exactly the same as for the Senate. Equal representation will make big state populations in control and small states have no say. This constitutional compromise allowed both to participate meaningfully in American governance.

Please take a college level course in political history. If the EC was the same as the Senate, why is EC weighted by population?

Also if EC was such a good idea, why has NO other country copied,such a great idea? Some times experiments fail. And when they do fail, they fail miserably: Bush Jr. and Traitor Trump.
