I have no problem with targeted reductions in taxes that show they will increase growth. Like, businesses paying zero tax if they meet a certain increase in hiring employees and reinvesting in their businesses for growth. What Trump did was a give away. There were no strings attached. Just more money to the top and nothing tied to increased growth. It was a very poor incentive and our trillion dollar deficit this year proves yet again that trickle down economics doesn't work. In every single case, growth has been seen for 18 to 24 months, then a leveling back off to same levels.
The vast majority of our current immigration problem is women and children crossing at legal check points. Not people crossing over land. I have no problem with new regulations making first country crossed, the legal country for asylum. This administration has been in the business of government sanctioned orphaning for over a year, trying to stop people from entering. Finally, they've gotten their heads out of their asses and made a legitimate change that others around the world won't shake their heads at in disgust.
To say that the EPA is the problem when we have vastly improved quality of air and water because of the EPA, is an oversimplification. We have more people employed in solar power than in coal, oil and gas combined. By not increasing standards, increasing alternative energy we are going backward and only supporting big oil/gas at the expense of the future and of jobs. Now we're supporting a king, a killer of an American journalist and putting Americans into harms way to support oil. There are obvious ties to big money, monopoly and the old way of doing things that don't support a positive future.
