You should write them a letter, and ask how the 4th one got 12% of the vote then. They are wrong, and either way so are you since the electoral college did not decide against the majority. It has only done so 3 times, Bush Jr dingbat, Drumpf the moron and your homework assignment is to look up the third. cheers

yoiur point?

Lincoln received only 40 percent of the popular vote but handily defeated the three other candidates: Southern Democrat John C. Breckinridge, Constitutional Union candidate John Bell, and Northern Democrat Stephen Douglas, a U.S. senator for Illinois.

After seeing how California, New York and Florida run their states, allowing them to choose our national leaders will only lead to one outcome:

Total failure

I know you're none to bright, but I have to address this post so the youngsters don't fall victim to your partisan ignorance. There never was a single country that could call itself free that didn't have vastly different people with different values and ideas that could maintain itself by silencing a chunk of them just by having any majority rule over with their violent mobs. It happened in Greece, it happened in the early colonies, but it's not happening here.

“There are two types of education… One should teach us how to make a living, and the other how to live.”

– John Adams

“I must study Politics and War that my sons may have liberty to study Mathematics and Philosophy.”

– John Adams, letter to Abigail Adams, May 12, 1780.

Kicker is I am not arguing against the original quote, ever, just your silly attribution of it.. got it?

You nitpick a single image I didn't even make. Now study up on your history facts before talking about the way we choose our leaders.

If you can't respond to my comments without vague and off-topic comments then you're wasting my time and the time you should be spending with your friends and family.

Obviously, those larger states have more points because more folks live in those states! We can’t have popular vote because everyone will be easier to control in the states with higher populations.

I think Minnesota would be bigger!

But for real, Trump shouldn't have won! The electoral college is a failure for this country!
