Some friends from church "broke into" our house (convinced the neighbor to give them a key) while we were on our way to pick up our daughter from the hospital on the day she was born. We were so stressed about going to meet her and bring her home, and had left the house in a complete disaster in all the panic of trying to pack up and go, and they came in and cleaned everything up, left us freezer meals in the freezer, decorated with "welcome home baby" banners and gifted us with a crib mattress, onesies, formula, paper products, diapers, wipes, and so much other stuff it was unreal. Good friends, it was so wonderful to walk through the front door and just see and receive all that agape love, freely given in such a time of need. We were floored.
