In the fun section, people act like upvotes are very precious and rare, and expensive. I upvote all of the time, but I’ll get hundreds of view on my memes in the fun section, and sometimes quite a few comments, but few upvotes. In the politics section, I get quite a few vies, quite a few comments, and considerably more upvotes. And I am somebody who posts to both the fun section and the politics section, and I am ranked in the top 30 for imgflip.
