They don’t even sell the jumbo shredded wheat anymore. The “low fat diet” killed it because it was intended to be served with milk and butter. The two things that protected everyone from heart disease prior to 1977.

Yes. Of course it would melt. You take 2 jumbo shredded wheat put a pat sugar on each one, put a pat of butter on each one, then pour warm milk over it.

Oh!!! That actually sounds really good. That’s how I eat my cream of wheat-butter, sugar and milk :)
Yum! Too bad they quit making it. My husband eats those frosted mini wheats so that’s why I was confused about the butter—you need hot milk as opposed to him pouring cold on his. I have a lot of blond moments:)
