I guess it depends on the size of the church. And "raking the forests" is also known as fire management. It's a little thing the US Forestry Service has been handling for over 100 years. Clear cutting fire breaks, clearing brush and fallen trees, setting prescribed fires..... California fruits and nuts decided that fire management wasn't eco-friendly, and they got out-of-control fires for making such a poor decision.
