There is a huge difference between a Republican and a Conservative. Far too many Republicans think that Democrat-lite is what works best. I left the Republican Party and became an Independent after years and years of them nominating RINOs like McCain, Romney, Dole, for president. Electing leadership like McConnell, Ryan and Boehner also sealed the deal to leave the Party.
