I got the insult, where's the comic? A joke has a set up, which is supposed to be plausible enough to make the audience think it might be true. That, sets them up for the punch line. It can't be something dubious. You never hear a comic say, "Trump really cares about working people," as a set up. It evokes too many negatives. Change the set up to, "Trump really likes working people," and....crap. It is still unbelievable. Never mind.
