I don't know why I gained so much pleasure from that. I guess because I know some folks really hate each other over there. I imagined a few raised eye brows. Maybe no one noticed or cared though! I got a giggle out of it either way!

Yes, quite a few academics frequent that section, and you're right it can be very interesting to see all the arguments and counter arguments. And then theres the name calling, lol

Name callers=uneducated people who have no valid argument or just let their buttons get pushed. BTW, is the comment timer gone now???

It's been gone for a while now actually! Seems like it might get invoked if a comment stream just gets blown up, like if someone is abusing the system I think they can impose it like sanctions or something. But leaving a comment on a meme, and then immediately going through and commenting on other comments without having to wait, yeah that's nice :)

Yes, it was a pain. It made me stop replying as much to a lot of the people I liked. I haven’t been on as much so all these changes have escaped me-lol

there's also been a lot of changes made with sorting and filtering, and you can follow other users now like you can follow streams, which is nice.
