I like skiing, I feel most alive when I'm skiing and at a point where I'm fully committed and there is no turning back.
Unrelated to skiing, I woke up middle of an operation once. I had no idea of the time or place I was in. My eyes were taped shut and I was intubated, I was instinctively trying to sit up.
The doctor said my name, where I was, what was happening, not to move. I remember feeling relieved after hearing and understanding what the doctor was saying, then relaxing and laying back down knowing I was in good hands.
