Death

I was swimming (or at least trying to) in the ocean when I was around 8 or 9. There were strong rip currents. I wasn't a confident swimmer and started panicking when I couldn't see the shore. A Nigerian tourist ended up rescuing me. Scariest thing that's ever happened to me.

THAT. is horrifying! I was at least in a swimming pool. The ocean is massive. I am afraid to venture in above my hips. Glad you are here to tell the tale!

Haha, I can't stop laughing. Yeah, I haven't really been in the water since not even in a swimming pool.

I almost feel down a flight of stairs backwards were there was a low window at the bottom luckily i caught myself. Dont know if i would have died, but somehow i think it was an angel saving me

I have a relative this happened to. She and her husband own a cabin cleaning business, and were cleaning cabins one day. She stepped into what she thought was a room. It was very dark so she could not see what she was stepping into. She fell down the stairs and has been hospitalized for over a year now. I think she can speak, but she can move arms a little bit, she cannot walk. All she did was open a door and walk in. Scary.

Wow. Yeah I feel like i would have gotten hurt because it was a small distance from the bottom step to the window.
