Psychic or programmed more likely. If you were'nt already aware of him and his deeds before the first attempt. Then after the time of the 1st supposed suicide attempt you certainly would have learnt of his connections and there reputations for suiciding people.
Is it just possible that it's all a set up ? I mean they dont need him alive to continue down the line of charging associates.
But why would he kill himself if he was awaiting judgement on his bail appeal? I think there's a lot of fishy here. The possibility of him being in a witness protection situation also exists. He easily could have been monitored from his home and not sitting in a jail (even if he deserves jail).
