Nothing has been debunked. If either of you were familiar with the scientific process then some type of repeatable and measurable evidence would be in order. The 5G carrier wave is significantly damaging to human DNA even at the lower operating wattage. Wait till they ramp it up with all the huge copper cables they have installed running at full capacity.

Read the disclosure you signed the first time you signed up for a cell phone. Also, research the true and independent science not brought to you by a big corporation. Proof is abundant for those smart enough to read and analyze.

Actually the OP is correct, only that microwaves are far less (immediately?) dangerous than nukes.

Continous and/or close enough exposure can cause damage on the cellular & chromosomal level, causing mutations which can cause cancer, as exhibited by the increased incidence of brain cancer with long term cell phone users.
Even when using a microwave oven it is advised to stand at least 8 feet away when on, and those are for new ones. Aged ones are worse.

There is even a theory that basic electromagnetic radiation is the chief cause of the rise of cancer rates in the modern age. Yes, that electrical cord near you might give you cancer. While that may be overly simplistic and ignore a whole host of other possible contributions such as carcinogens and whatnot, the notion is an interesting one.

The OP's tone may seem to exaggerate the danger, taking it to an extreme, but there is a basis in truth in it.

And if you want proof on my end, it's simple 13+ physics. Electromagnetic spectrum, maybe? Does that ring a bell? You know, microwave radiation. On the infrared side of the electromagnetic spectrum? Won't kill you unless your exposed to an intense amount of it, which 5g towers won't do. You must talking more about gamma radiation, which is akin to the nuclear radiation people like you worry so much about.

It's kind of amazing I get to meet someone who believes this myth, and have to explain GCSE level physics to them.
