My buddy from Munster, said that things work better in Germany, the people are more on the same page.
He said that if you are driving and going slow and someone flashes the lights behind u going faster, you kindly move over, everyone waves and everyone is ok.
In america, someone going slow will give you the finger and try to run you off the road..
also the work ethic is different. Most people work in Germany, they try to do the job right.
Most Americans that work like to do a good job but we have vast amount of people who are able bodied who refuse to work.
My GF son for example. 31 plays video games all day, never worked in his life. He is semi special needs, has a messed up arm and hand but I see ppl worse than him working all the time..
I did have a German opear (nannny not sure of spelling) as a friend, she was from east Germ orig. She said everything is way faster paced here, everyone is in a rush and the volume of work is higher than expected she said.
I dont think it will work here (socialized med) but I am not one of those who wish it to fail it tried. Same with Obamacare, it has major flaws in it, my 1 bro has it.. I know Obama meant well but it wasnt ready when they did it.. again I hoped it would succeed but has major flaw with salary , if u get hurt and cant earn $$ anymore and you fall below your states poverty level (aprox 17k in Pa) you lose your obama care and they make u go on medicade (or medicare 4 get) but the lag period is tremendous. so you lose it when u need it most.. scary.
I know NY is better at transitioning my cuz has it. and some states are terrible.
