Still hoping we get the gif filter for the streams back! Would love to be able to filter them again!

It bugs my eyes to have a screen full of gifs. I filter them out when it's a bother. In comments it's a different story because you can look at a gif and then tuck it away again. But the streams just have all the gifs rolling continuously, and sometimes there is a page full of the things. I don't DISLIKE them, I just have trouble looking at several that are going nonstop.

It was available before, so I don't see your request being problem. It's just for them to replace it, like they have the "NSFW" tick box.

Right? Remember back when they has several boxes? NSFW, gifs, memes, some other maybe it was charts or something? I can't understand why they removed those.

Yeah I remember those, it made it easier for me to search my account for "Memes". I filter out everything else except "Memes"

Now I have to remember certain keywords to search for images in my account or go through all my submissions. I got a lot of trouble with that when I had to look for memes to repost for the "Repost Memes" event.

Honestly I think they shouldn't have removed it in the first place. 😒

Or if you want to search for certain gifs too. Filter out all but the gifs. I remember a few times narrowing down what was in the stream was help for searching when I could't find it any other way.

Yep. It was much easier then. I'm not against the changes, but I would appreciate if they put back those filter features.

We have had a LOT of really good changes. Some I don't care for, but I think we have gotten a lot of what we have asked for for years. So I can't complain TOO hard!

Yes, we have to be careful about complaining. We don't want to look like we're difficult to satisfy. 😉

I was actually THINKING that! Because every time they give us a feature it seems someone posts asking for an improvement to said feature! Which also is one reason I always post a thank you meme when we get something cool. I hope they feel the gratitude!

Well I've asked for fancy text and emojis in comments and submissions titles. I did a "Thank You" gif in the imgflip meta stream. Then Lordcheesus did a meme which was on the front page of the fun stream. I've seen submissions from you saying "Thank you" They know we're grateful. ☺️

I guess they recycled the boxes.

There a ton of gifs in the fun stream, as well. So really it doesn't.
