Sounds good, but then the main stream would be littered with repeats! Some people already submit one meme in several streams. They end up getting few up votes, probably because people don't want to see the same one everywhere.

Well, it could still only show them once in the main stream, at least I think it could be coded that way, so that it's shown concurrently rather than consecutively (not entirely sure I'm using those right in this context, but I can't think of other terminology).

So, instead of showing up once saying "submitted in fun", and then again saying "submitted in politics", it could just list all the streams it's submitted in.

There would have to be fairly high diminishing returns for each stream submitted to though, maybe, to discourage people from just spamming their meme in every remotely related stream for point-hunting.

"Oh look, if you zoom the picture in by 1000x, there's a cat just barely visible in the lower left corner of the image, I can put this in the cats stream!"
