Good question. The Answer: Said person probably doesn't care and only pretends to care for Votes and/or Money. Thankfully there are many more who take this threat more seriously. Greta Thunberg for example plans to attend the Climate Conference in America via Sail-Boat because flying is that much more Climate unfriendly. We need more people like her in Power. The Bundestags Representative who happens to be from my city for example doesn't even own a Car. He Commutes to the Bundestag/Work via Train, Public Transport (Bus) or Bicycle.
