Adam was a guy. He only cared about keeping Eve happy.

I've heard that argument before--happy wife, happy life. But, Adam's job was to protect Eve. Why didn't he tell her not to eat the forbidden fruit or that the serpent was lying? Why did he then blame her and God ("the woman you gave me...") when he was asked why he ate the fruit? It's not like Eve nagged Adam into eating it. I'm willing to bet he sat back to see what would happen when she ate the fruit. When nothing happened, he probably figured it was safe to do so as well.
I would never say men are trash, but get it straight. Men have been using that story of the fall from the garden to oppress women for centuries.

Maybe he wanted to get laid that night.

No, it's not a joke. I'm surprised you've never heard of that before--you expressed the same message in your post. Ever wonder why women aren't given the same responsibilities or status as men in their church/synagogue/mosque? They're doing the same thing Adam did--they think the woman is at fault for their downfall and therefore cannot be trusted.

In the U.S. there is no right that a man has that a woman or anybody else, doesn't have.

Not being religious myself, I really can't speak for how religions treat women today, I do believe that in most Christian and Jewish faiths, a woman can be a priest or rabbi or anything they want. I know nothing about Islam, but I have heard it is oppressive to women, though I don't know if it is because of Eve or just the way that religion was made-up.

If your faith does not allow women to participate equally and you feel oppressed by it, then maybe you need to find another religion.

I agree, Eve shouldn't have listened to the serpent. But Adam did share in the responsibility for the fall and shouldn't have blamed her for his free-will choice. In fact, both Adam and Eve should have sucked it up, admitted they were wrong and asked for forgiveness.
I don't attend any church now, but I did grow up hearing things like it was Eve's fault that man fell. I know times have changed, but there is still a spiritual war going on, and the devil loves to target women. The "feminist" movement right now is being run by "womyn" (males pretending to be female) and it's a ploy to get men and women to turn on each other.
