I like them but not in excess.

I do not have tattoos at all. My ears are pieced but that is it. I think tattoos are okay, I don't necessarily feel turned off by them in general. I think if one must get tattoos then they should be of good quality. No nasty, jinked up county fair scribble. I think facial tattoos are ugly. Piercings aren't really attractive. I dated a guy for over 3 years who had his ears, nipples and ding-a-ling pierced. I especially thought the one down south was gross. I made him remove it before he touched me.

I have both tattoos and piercings but nothing extreme. I detest face and neck tattoos. And anything south of the boarder is a no go zone.

I have tattoos and piercing put all in inconspicuous areas that are easily covered when I have to act professional.

I got em tucked away for looking normal although I got a bit of neck going on, not shabby work btw, Couldn't pierce, not a chance

I don't particularly like piercings on men. Ears are ok but anything else is a no. 😆 I'm a big believer in each to their own as long as it's not excessive.

The arms are a fairly safe place when it comes to tats. I have a few there as well as on my back and stomach.

I have neither, but have nothing against those who do. I'll admit that when someone comes in to interview with me it makes me question their professionalism if it is excessive. I think it can be done tastefully, and I've seen some very intricate and beautiful artwork done in tattoos.

There is a certain amount of professionalism expected in a workplace. I could see why they would put you off. Tattoos shouldn't be for showing off to other people. The least you can do for an interview is cover them up. Face and neck tattoos scream gang banger to me.

Some might argue that it has nothing to do with the person's qualifications to do a job, and while that might be the case for the most part I feel that it most certainly is a reflection of their decision making and judgement, and that does count for something. If you thought for some reason that a facial tattoo was a good life decision, what other unwise choices are you going to make while employed at my company? And furthermore, I would most certainly NOT send anyone like that to meet with a client because then the client will question our firm's judge of character. You wanna work in a hot rod shop with Jesse James, go ahead. But in a professional environment where dress codes are enforced, that's a no for me.
