Go ahead and bring up the past all you like.
God/Jesus Christ is the Creator and sustainer of all things and has the right and authority to judge His creatures however He sees fit. If He wants to judge by sending one group of creature to wipe out/kill/destroy/commit genocide on the rebels (which He did more than once) He is well within His rights and authority as Creator.
You can not point to one verse in the Bible that supports the type of slavery that Africans committed on other Africans when they kidnapped them, enslaved them, and sold them to Europeans who sold them in America where Democrats kept them enslaved.
I can point to at least one passage that says that type of slavery is a sin and will be judged according to God's law:
1 Timothy 1:9-11 CSB
9 We know that the law is not meant for a righteous person, but for the lawless and rebellious, for the ungodly and sinful, for the unholy and irreverent, for those who kill their fathers and mothers, for murderers,
10 for the sexually immoral and homosexuals, for SLAVE TRADERS, liars, perjurers, and for whatever else is contrary to the sound teaching
11 that conforms to the gospel concerning the glory of the blessed God, which was entrusted to me.
