My libraries are just shelves of novels, a couple computers and some leaflets about domestic violence and healthcare..
You must have some good libraries where you are, because mine can't really justify their own existence..

That's a shame! Libraries work within the aims of their governing body (like a university or city or district council) so you could talk to the acquisitions head or manager (see "Patron-driven acquisition", on the ABC-CLIO website here: https://www.abc-clio.com/ODLIS/odlis_p.aspx#patrondriven (2019, para. 124) ). But yes, there are good libraries were I am (New Zealand).
