As an intermediate woodworker, there is a 95% chance she literally just took apart a couple unfinished pre-made chairs, threw a piece of particle board through a table saw, used that as a seat and called it a day.

The competence for the legs and back aren't reflective of the seat at all. It's literally like two different people with different machinery and skill sets made them..

I have done some woodwork as well and I completely see your point. There's quite a few layers of nonsense going on here... The woodwork is amateurish for sure. Your analysis of the construction seems spot on. The backs of the chairs look as if they will snap off if you even slightly lean back on them. Beyond that, the entire premise of making these chairs is ridiculous. Manspreading is the result of having genitals on the outside of your body. The worst part is that she received an award for this...

I have come to the conclusion that this nonsense is being pushed by the media on purpose in order to foment anger and hatred between men and women. They do the same crap with race, sexual orientation, immigration status, religion, age, political ideology, and pretty much any other characteristics they can use to divide people.

Wow you guys I didnt really see how bad her chair was except the ridiculousness of design. I came to comment on the apparent craftsmanship of the Edison feminist chair. Only a woman who wished she had balls would make a chair like that.
