I needed to make a random meme one day, googled how to do it, and the imgflip generator popped up. Started looking at everyone's memes and stalked the site for about a year before I finally broke down and made an account, the rest is history :)

Lol! I guess I mean just checking out memes and profiles and reading the comment sections without actually posting any content myself. Pretty much using the site the same way I do now for entertainment, but without actually contributing anything. Not sure how long it's been around, Socrates is the longest tenured member I know of, and he's been on since 2014 according to his profile.

Actually it was a YUKON GOLD, lol! It all started with the linked meme, i had no ideas that day and just told everybody to upvote the potato and it actually made top of the front page. Then it turned into a contest to see who could post the most ridiculous thing and make top of front page. Boma countered my potato with a kitten laying on top of a potato, and then i countered with a rabbit with a pancake on its head. They all made top of the front page, ridiculous. There were several others, an egg i think did very well but i forget who posted it. After that i was basically forever labeled as the potato guy. it just sort of stuck, and i've sort of embraced it, lol
