An old mate of mine. He’s a fat bastard but still strong as an ox. He can roll up a frying pan. Known him for 20 odd years now. He’s doing good for a 61 year old 6’5 champ.

No, it was just a spar essentially. He just tapped out to my Americana lock & I got a grazed elbow. You see when your at my age, fighting consists more of us just sizing each other up that grappling. Being 6’4 & 312 lbs I’m throwing my arse around pretty well. Just need another six months & more white meats in my diet.

When I was a lad, I was known for my height but I was incredibly skinny. I guess it was down to the growth of my body focusing on getting taller rather than filling out. When I was around 21 I started doing bodybuilding & wrestling to build myself up. Eventually I got a bit ‘tubby’ & had to lose a ton of weight which brought me into other martial arts over the years to come. I was quite a skilled fighter (although trying not to brag) I could put even the biggest of men down. I did this type of sparring every now & then to keep my fitness up & continue to pull my weight fairly without stress on the joints. Yadda yadda eventually I had to give up sparring due to work & haven’t seen the octagon until now. I was in my fighting prime in the early to mid 90’s which is where I would read superhero comics on my off time working in the city psychiatric ward. I would usually chat with a few patients how introduced me to marvel to keep their spirits up & that when I discovered the character of thanos. Don’t know what it was specifically that drawn me to the character but I took an interest nonetheless. By the time Infinity Gauntlet was released I absolutely loved the Character. He’s a particularly interesting read just like all the joker incarnations & provide good story. It’s where I get my Imgflip character ideas from amongst other sources of inspiration.

So long story short as possible I aspired to be as strong & intelligent as thanos & failed miserably at it as I kill time chatting to strangers on a meme sharing site impersonating multiple characters to drive a big interactive story & make the site more enjoyable. It’s a hobby (Imgflip) but a damn enjoyable one at that. I just do ‘things’ to see what happens when I stir the pot. Nice to see folks like yourself enjoying yourself. It makes my time here worth it to entertain others.

Amazing story; I didn't know Thanos was such a role model for you. Cheers!
I started bodybuilding when I was 14: too early, I think, as lifting heavy weights put a lot of strain on my developing joints. My body bulked up quickly, although I've had to tone down the intensity since then. Tried toning down my caloric intake too, but that hasn't gone so well. Lol.
