My apartment in college was haunted, I'm convinced of it. All 3 of us that lived there had our own experiences, from mischievous play with electronics, to seeing shadows that moved or shouldn't be there, hearing noises, etc. My phone would regularly move in the night and show up on the floor or desk when it had been left to charge on the nightstand. The TV would also turn on randomly in the night. We all for some reason believed it to be the spirit of a little girl, but have no logic behind that, it was always just a feeling.

If only you knew how much I wish I were in your shoes. Life's too boring where I live. There are some abandoned houses in our town which me and my friends investigated (late at night, of course, for the feelz), but that's about it.

i'm of the belief that things like this exist, but it's best not to go seek it out. if spirits are caught in the "in-between" then there is a reason for that, and it's not always innocent. i see these guys on ghost hunters and stuff go out and start invoking spirits and calling them out in the name of God thinking that God will protect them and somehow at the same time show them a spirit...yes God will protect us from spirits when they attack us but i think He might also say, no you dummy you asked for this and used my name in vain to call them out, why should I protect you? I believe spiritual warfare is real, and to walk into a situation where you could be exposed to evil for entertainment is foolish. but that's just me, and i've certainly gotten entertainment from youtube videos of others' experiences so i get the allure of it. I'm just not personally going to go chase after it!

When I was a kid I thought I saw the ghost of my grandmother who had just passed away a week prior. Although I'm sure it was just my imagination I was half asleep at the time. Ghosts aren't something I believe in 🤷

Dont have to believe for them for them to exist! If it was her I'm sure she was just checking up on you :) we all know you could use some extra supervision!

When ever I see that template I always read it in Ned Flanders voice, that's probably what makes it funny ;-)

JK, my curiosity is if you have (as you said) experienced something you couldn't explain :) everyone has their way of finding answers, to your point maybe I sleep walked and did some of the stuff I mentioned like moving my phone, its plausible, but I've never sleep walked before that I know of. It's actually my roommates stories that have the most impactful crazy unknown what-the-heck-was-that characteristics, and those stories only compounded my own conclusions as to what was going on. But, ghosties may not be the answer. It's just a fun subject to me!

I quit nicotine about two years ago, ish. One of the withdrawal symptoms is vivid dreams, I actually sort of enjoyed them as it truly felt like real life experience that I knew was really a dream. Saw and experienced some weird stuff though!

Even weirder than the dreams themselves is when you recall a dream you had long ago randomly during the day. Or when long after a dream you had, you have a dream which seems like a continuation of the dream you had long ago.

Every one we have it seems likes to randomly start talking without prompt if the power is left on, it's like a ritual for us to go around and turn off the power buttons on all the toys every night, lol

Yes.

Occasionally in the 90's I would stay at the Truckee Hotel in Truckee CA. There is a common room on the second floor above the lobby. Pool table, TV, card tables, board games, etc.

One night I was alone in that room and for no apparent reason, the door to the room suddenly slammed shut, super hard. Not windy outside, so drafts wouldn't explain it. I asked about it the next day, the person at the desk said that was a part of the hotel where "things happen"

If anyone makes it to Truckee, that hotel has(had) a great bar on the first floor, next door to the north is an awesome Mexican restaurant called Casa Baeza, I highly recommend both.

We had a hutch with open shelves that was about 8 feet tall and every few days would notice one or two items on the shelves had been moved. This went on for months and was a bit un-nerving until one day we saw our cat climbing those shelves like a ladder. Mystery solved!

When I go to the bathroom late at night (0:00 - 6:00) while everyone is sleeping, I can hear some strange noises through the bathroom window. I really don't know how to describe it other than that. If anything, I can compare it to Silent Hill OST, but it still doesn't do it justice.

i'm not familiar with that sound track, but sounds like a weird experience!

How can't I share?

Really, the ooonly time I've felt close to the 'unknown' was when I was small, watching ironically a paranormal cartoon during an evening. As I sat there on the couch watching, I had this, eerie feeling I couldn't shake off despite the television being loud and energetic from the show, so then I heard, foot steps.
"Haha what's that? iiiits kinda creeping me out" Sorta thought to myself, reassuring it was mere wood being bent up in the attic.

But it got closer to my headquarders.
Eventually I yelled out thinking someone was home

No one was.
They all went out that night

It kept going and going, ever closer

And finally someone came home for my "rescue"
Hehe

TBH as much as I didn't like to admit, the house I lived in did give me a feel of spooks occasionally.

My grandparent's house did that to me, or at least the feeling anyway. I never actually saw or heard anything but I'd get that feeling that someone was there, or I was being watched. It was a very old house, built back in the 1940's I think so it had that old creepy feeling to it period. I suppose it could have just been me as a kid letting my imagination run wild, but then I still get that feeling today when i think about it too and i'm old enough to know better now.

My dad used to live in Massachusetts and he recalls seeing all sorts of thing like tall thin pink aliens with huge red eyes. And pictures he lived near a cranberry big and he remembers all the neighborhood kids wouldn't go there because of the devil dog. Interesting enough I went with my dad to mass and we saw a huge pawprint in the sand... Still kind of creepy...
