Idk about Kylie, but I would have preferred Ariana. Why do we want to forget she's actually a pretty stinking good singer?

Apparently Halle is too. Besides, Ariana does more pop songs. I think it'd be weird having her sing a Disney song.

Everyone thinks that until the movie actually comes out. Just about everyone I know adored the "Aladdin," "Beauty and the Beast," and "Cinderella" remakes.

Only saw the first one. I guess people certainly have different tastes, because the new Aladdin greatly underwhelmed me. Princess Jasmine and Will Smith Genie were decent, though.

I thought Mena made the perfect Aladdin; he sounded and looked so much like the original.

He was good. I was talking about people bringing something new to the table. He did make a really impressive Aladdin, though.

Aaaaand I got a bit of a "Santa Fe" vibe when he was singing his part of "Riff-Raff, Street Rat, I Don't Buy That."
