Fast walking burns more fat than a strenuous weight lifting routine. I'd recommended it but I don't know if it's derr hunting season in Eire.

Yeah, that sound like a reasonable routine. Although I'm nursing a broken arm at the moment so the weight will have to wait.

I'm not much into weight lifting, but I do enjoy a walk or bike ride. The best exercise that touches on each part of the body is a plank. Start with 30 seconds, increase the time gradually. These 2 apps (android, not sure about Apple) have been great. I used to do the 7 minute workout once a day hubby still does it. I prefer the 30 day workout. You can choose an area of the body to strengthen and it chooses daily exercises with increasing intensity. You can even set reminders. Good luck!

Thanks for the advice. I always have trouble getting into a routine not knowing where to start. I'll give those apps ago they look handy.
