Lucifer? Where?
Here's a neat trick:
Take the Garden of Eden story.
Remove the names.
Hand the story to someone who never read it before.
Ask them which is the good God, which is the bad.
You see where this is going?
The Serpent, who offered the the gift of knowledge to Adam and Eve, is the Good God, the one who threw the hissy fit for doing so and cast them all out is the Bad God.
And the world has been ruled by evil ever since.
You don't even have to change the story or hide the names, that literally IS what the tale tells.
