he wants to give every citizen over 18 a thousand dollars a month in the hopes that they'll use the added financial security to invest in new business and spend more in the economy in general. pay for it by cutting some other welfare programs and starting a VAT tax. I'm not really sure what I think of the whole scheme, tbh.
