What don't you get about Australians telling the president that their own policy is BAD?

That's why people are elected, so one guy's opinion isn't the law. I bet I can find you another example of anecdotal evidence of an Australian that disagrees.

What is with you libs lately? Trump has a different opinion than you that others agree with but they don't have a right to their opinion? How could someone have a different view than you? What?

I'm all for people having a difference of opinion, but we're not talking about that here. Trump isn't stating an opinion, he is, basically, stating, as the President and representative of the United States, that this should be law. And had he RESEARCHED it, he would have probably found out that most, if not all, Australians think it's a bad idea.

Furthermore, what is going on at the border on both our side and on Mexico's side is no longer an immigration issue. It has now become a humanitarian crisis. Perhaps the UN should consider intervening?

Never said they could solve the crisis, just stating that it has now become an international crisis that neither Trump OR the Democrats can fix.

He can state what he wants. He's stated a bunch of things that never came to pass. Just so you know, Trump wants more immigrants, just legal ones. I actually believe that one but that's me. I sincerely doubt ALL Australians think that. In fact, I know that.

The Humanitarian ideology advocates a political standpoint based on a humanitarian perspective. The standpoint that comes out of this ideology is constructed upon the conviction that EVERY human being basically has the same rights that we do as Americans. So, no, I don't think 98% of the world is humanitarian.
