These politically active young people are with the New Georgia Project. I and a co-worker were accosted four times by four different groups of these activists in the same spot in a poor part of my city, each time they asked if we would like to register to vote. I asked the guy with the clipboard if this was volunteer work. He said they are paid $15 an hour and have a "goal" of eleven names per day from anywhere in the state. So they will pay activists to go into the community to fill voter rolls, but they won't send activists to sign up the same citizens for a free voter ID? That's problematic.
