Libraries and low profile non-profit organizations provide plenty of credible research on the leading causes of violence, how it escalates from early child abuse, and how to prevent it! However, the for-profit media provides little or no coverage for the vast majority of these books, possibly since they can't make as much money from them; so the vast majority of the public is unaware of this; and political decisions aren't made based on it!
