Perhaps he is, perhaps some around him are but time will tell. But 12 years of dem rule and hill would have guaranteed it. "How dare you question her, YOU SEXIST BIGOT" imo.

Make the Liberals third party status again, like Skeletor in Ontario. But you do live in the best province, if you can stand the rain. Altho I hear PEI is nice.

Well another member of trumps cabinet signed out today, lotta turn over in his staff, who's to blame?, hireing the best people and all. Diplomacy is not his strong suit, the US is not a corporation, but a living breathing entity full of varying lifestyles, beliefs and customs, an ever evolving society of givers and takers, earners and users, and needs to be treated as such, everyone is involved, gay, straight, trans, rich, poor, black, white and brown, everyone deserves a chance at a decent life, I don't feel trump allows for that, especially with his latest rhetoric against the LGBTQ, women and asylum seekers and the "haters and losers" as he calls them. He may not like them, but they are very much a part of the intricate fibre that makes up America that he is ultamately responsable for.

Yeah, I guess shipping the gas across to the island adds a substantial cost. Just heard California is adding 6 cents per gallon tax on top of what they added last year. I had an aunt that use to live in Victoria and I went up and visited her in my 20's. Still remember the bulbous mass of clouds rolling in off the ocean, it was amazing. Hated the town (try and find a place to piss without buying a meal) but the Carmanah (sp?) forest was like rainforest with huge Sitka trees. Story is an old assault from 2010. His son assaulted his wife with a bat, he took his sons side, upon further digging, apparantly the wife had a psycho history, but you know the narative cycle, " your son beat your wife with a bat, and you take your sons side". Up here in Nanaimo, we get lucky being on the leeward side of Mt. Benson, so the weather here stays quite nice, but I do enjoy seeing Vancouver accross the strait with all the clouds and rain. But livin here with all this beautiful forest, I will never curse a rain day again. I'll still golf, play, do whatever, I aint made of sugar.

Well, Trump was also accused of 'going too far' with his rhetoric with North Korea in the beginning. He also did about as little as one could with his Syrian strike after the 'gas attack' bs and that got him his 1st actual praise from the left establishment. So I hope this is just more tough talk. Heard something about the troops he's sending, something about how they aren't frontline troops but I haven't slept in awhile so my memory is foggy. I think deep down Trump doesn't want dead soldiers on his conscience but that's my take, some think he's a sociopath. *shrugs*

I remember going to these docks in Nanaimo where there was a fish market on the way up to Tofino. That's all I remember of it except I bought a Nanaimo bar. Tofino was cold and windy, think it was May. Yeah, I wouldn't want to bother crossing over the ferry to Vancouver. So many diverse locals on the island, especially if you come from sask like I think you mentioned. There's a reason the tax is so high. Aren't half of all Canada's ummm, unique ecosystems in bc? Can't remember the proper term for it.
