Then how would the government be able to pay for running the country? They just magic money out of the air?

They need your servitude and not your money. They can digitize as much money as they need. As long as all the slaves do their part the gubment can indeed keep spending the magic money known as greenbacks.

So, you're gonna compare Americans to slaves. Even though slaves had no rights and little protection at all and were literally considered property.
That's just a massive middle finger to people who were, and are, sold into slavery.
And if we were slaves, we wouldn't be able to speak out against the government like we can nowadays. We criticize the governments of the world all the time, yet we're not beaten and abducted like we're in Soviet Russia.
