(I know when you made this you weren’t looking for an actual answer but here I go) Actually, in the original written version of cinderella, the stairs had tar on them to intentionally make a shoe fall off. I’m not sure what the second time you are referring to is, but I’m almost positive it’s a difference from book to movie.
