Being a part pf the government and defending freedom are direct opposites

Not if being part of the government entails limiting the power of government and defending The Bill of Rights... which includes The Second Amendment.

Sorry, but no government official, and especially a president intends to limit the power of the government. Why would they do that? Because they care about their people? Lol, think again. Every government official (and policemen and soldiers, for that matter) has sold it's people out just by being a part of the government. The relationship between politicians and citizens is like between slavers and slaves, with a difference that citizens are given a Bill of Rights to create an illusion that they're free.

Also, regarding the Bill of Rights, do you think that you need it? Can't you figure out what your rights are without a government writing them on a piece of paper?
Here's how I look at it: A statist needs a piece of paper to tell him what he can and can't do. An anarchist is smart enough to figure that on his own.

They all, military included, swear an oath to protect and defend the Constitution. Our freedom and rights derive from The Constitution. That’s why the oath is not to defend the people, the land, the sea, the money... none of that. One thing and one thing only requires an official to swear an oath.

Your freedom and rights derive from The Constitution? So, if somebody burnt the Constitution down, you'd all of a sudden lose all the right and freedoms you have? Do you people really believe that?

If you need a piece of paper to tell you what right you have and don't have, then I can feel nothing more than absolute pity for you.
