while I can agree with you that for two years,with a house majority,not much was done in regards to immigration.
however.
the reasons FOR that immigration are not trumps fault.(his policies haven't helped,but they are not the cause).
as I stated,the reasons are complicated and nuanced,but we can track back to the 1980's the reasons for mass migration from central America due to American interference and policy.
