Because a slave animal imprisoned for life for no crime is worth less than the whims of self indulgent selfish humans because humans are the only creatures to defy the Gods and partake of the fruit thus equating themselves with Godly status?

Well, either, a) people are going to say "well, yeah, it's an already born child" in which case you've proven nothing, or b) people are going to say "no, the gorilla is endangered and we're not, we're not going to value the safety of an already born child over the animal" in which case how are you going to get them to see abortion your way?
