Not to say his 7 aren't legitimate because they are, but he did win all 7 under a broken points system. Under the Winston Cup he would've only won 3 and Gordon would have 7 which to me makes more sense.

I Mean I Wouldn't Call It Broken They Added It So It Would Make The Racing Better In The Last 10 Races

Dont get me wrong i like the playoffs, especially now with the knock out rounds. I mean more like the way NASCAR changed the seeding and how many points a win was worth every year or two. Plus i think he lucked out at the time because his best tracks were a good chunk of the playoffs (Texas, California, Charlotte, Dover, etc.).
I make the same point about Earnhardt too though; he wouldn't have gotten his 7 if Tim Richmond and Davey Allison hadnt passed away. Those two wouldve won at least 1 a piece.
