A few years back I rolled my ankle so well that I couldn't wear a shoe for 3 months.

My brother wore these in the 70's, until he really sprained his ankle. I think he weakened it because he sprained it a few more times over the years.

But they are a hazard!

I know right. I doubt they make them anymore. Of course I have Peggy Hill feet so they would never be in my size.

Flip flops. I can find them in a regular store, at a decent price, and they are usually a couple sizes too small but I can deal with it. As long as my toes don't drag the ground. I wear a 12 1/2. It seems these Hobbit Feet of mine insist on growing a little more every couple of years.

Better to have sizes too big than too small.. That goes for a lot of uh, apparel (?)

If I ever find ladies shoes that are too big I would weep tears of joy. LOL

I wear a 12 1/2 in US women's shoes. So I think I would be about a 11 in the UK.
