In the eyes of the law, yes. Unless you are proven guilty of said crimes, you are innocent of them. Or are you suggesting we should throw away the foundation of our entire legal system and make accusations of guilt enough to put you away until you can somehow prove you didn't do it?

Then you are guilty. See how that works? If you aren't proven guilty or admit guilt, you are not guilty in the eyes of the law. You might want to think twice before arguing any point that goes against that very simple concept. Public opinion and unproven allegations are completely meaningless.

My point is that whether it happened or not, without legal evidence and a guilty conviction or plea, you are presumed innocent. Period. If you don't think that's right, perhaps China or North Korea would suit you better than the west, considering that's basically the foundation of our entire justice system.
