Is there some mistake? The referendum was a joke and respect is not due.
It was a delicate technocratic decision left to the layman to decide. And as we would expect, half of us wanted to do one thing. Half of us wanted to do the other. There was a slight edge on one side but neither side really had the specialized knowledge to claim authority of the subject. And there was so much misinformation.
It was a bad referendum. Why should anyone respect it?
