Corbyn - Hypocrite - 2nd referendum

Is it just me or does Corbyn looks like he smells like lager and piss all the time?

But let's be clear about what the UK wants: half of us want to do one thing, half of us want to do the other, and neither of us see why the other side is particularly qualified to overrule the other. It should never have been put down to a 50% threshold.

Brexit has been a mess from start to a never-arriving finish and we all said it would be. I've no respect for the referendum results. Certainly in Scotland, none of us do.

No, the problem is, what do you put down to a democratic referendum, and what do you delegate to democratically elected representatives.

We could all vote for having free cocaine on the NHS but at some point we expect our MPs to go "come on guys. We hear what you're saying in principle and we'll have a think about it but you pay us to be realistic and that's what we're doing."

Yes and no. We want our representatives to align their goals as closely to ours as possible, otherwise something is very wrong.

Having said that, if there's a decision that most people just don't have the specialized knowledge to make, that's what representatives are for. That's why we have them in the first place. And especially for something like Brexit where it was a yes/no vote and then this awkward phase of "actually but there's very different ways of implementing the yes that we're NOT going to vote on" then you have a situation where putting it to a 50% vote doesn't make sense and never did.

But thank you recognising the point of this meme - Corbyn does not respect the result of a democratic vote - that makes him an outrageous hypocrite
