Well first, I disagree with your view of what is "just", or more specifically, how you are comparing one sentence to another for different crimes.

I don't believe you can gauge what is just for one action (performing abortion) with the penalty of another action (rape).

As I said I don't do it by comparing sentences for different crimes.

What is just, in the topic of the discussion, would be does the punishment fit the crime. Punishment should be related to the crime in question, not in comparison to the punishment of another crime.
