Interrupting Tom's Read

Happens so much I just don't care any more I guess. I have the habit of up voting before responding to anything just to be sure I am not that person.

I confess that I have at times forgotten to upvote, but when I realise I always go back to make amends. I've never actually pulled anyone up about it since it seems like a petty thing to be bothered by.

Yeah, I rarely call any one out either. Unless they are complaining about not getting up votes. Then it's open season.

I always upvote comments and replies, when I notice them. If the user I'm chatting with will upvote my comments, that's great! If they don't, I still upvote their comments anyway.

The thing is, some users are newer to the site, and they aren't familiar with site etiquette. You have to give them time. And then there's the balance of 1) trying to enlighten them, and 2) trying not to seem like you're begging them for upvotes. It's a tricky situation at times.

I do the same, I always upvote peoples comments even if they don't do the same with mine.
I know some people like to remind others when they don't upvote, but I don't want to come across as a nag.
I usually find that it's the younger imgflippers who tend not to upvote comments, it's not really a big deal to be honest just an observation more than anything else 😉
